I was lured in by a cheaper lookalike of this butter knife, but it was a letdown. The blade was so thick it just squashed the butter instead of curling it. Luckily, this one works like a charm! It makes perfect butter curls, although the serrated side tends to get butter stuck in it. But hey, that turns out to be a neat trick for spreading! Just flip and spread. Definitely worth getting the original over any knockoffs.

It’s great, but not so much with cold butter. It works wonders with butter at room temperature though.

It does a great job of making hard butter spread like it’s soft. Takes a bit to get the hang of it, but it’s worth it.
